Ben is constantly performing whether onstage or on camera, he can’t switch it off it’s the most irritating thing about him! A member of the locally renowned Parsley clan, Ben has a history of performing arts in his family and is the third generation to perform at the Playhouse.
He has appeared in a variety of plays, TV shows, short films and music videos from a young age. Theatre credits include last year’s sold out run of Jim Cartwright’s classic two-hander Two, John Godber’s Teechers; where he played eight different characters, and previous Harlow Playhouse pantomimes including Pay-Day Pete in Dick Whittington (2013), Chauffer in Cinderella (2014), Boris in Snow White (2015), Raoul in Beauty and the Beast (2016), Smee in Peter Pan (2017), Wishee Washee in Aladdin (2018) and last year Ben also performed as Silly Billy in Jack And The Beanstalk (2019); his second pantomime he co-wrote alongside Daniel Bell. He was so ball-bouncingly funny they asked him to come back and co-write this year’s pantomime! And the writing duo are looking forward to bringing you Cinderella in 2021! This is Ben’s tenth year of pantomime at Harlow Playhouse, and in this year of uncertainty he feels extremely lucky to be returning as Silly Billy Bones in this year’s ‘alternative’ panto.
Ben would also like to thank all those that sent Get Well messages when his whole left side was cut off… He would like let you all know he is all right now.
